Blocking Unwanted Parasites with a Hosts File
A great idea – gather together all of the sites you don’t like and make them into a hosts file so you can filter them out and speed up your web browsing.
Unfortunately, a couple of sites I routinely visit won’t display content unless the ads are able to display so I either need to remove those ad sites or not go there any more.
No ads or web comic? I still can’t decide… I really hate ads…
